You understand that you are emotionally eating.

But in the moment… nothing changes.

The Emotional Eating Deep Dive

A step-by-step system to close the gap between awareness and change.

Over 4 steps, you’ll learn how to interrupt emotional eating in the moment and gradually weaken the cycle so it stops feeling automatic.

Because right now…

You can name the trigger.
You know what you’re feeling.
You can even see it starting.

And still… you eat anyway.

Almost automatically.
You’re watching it happen, but not able to steer it.

And afterwards:
“I knew better… so why did I still do that?”

This isn’t a lack of awareness.

Most people assume:
“If I understand it, I should be able to stop.”

But you already understand it.
And it still isn’t changing what happens in the moment.

The problem isn’t knowledge.

It’s that:
• in the moment, there’s no reliable way to respond
• and over time, nothing is changing the pattern underneath

So the same urge… keeps leading to the same outcome.

The pattern keeps repeating.

Trigger → Emotion → Urge → Eating → Relief → Guilt → Repeat

Insight alone doesn’t change this.

What changes when this starts to shift:

  • “I was actually scared of not being able to emotionally eat anymore as strange as that sounds. Now I know I could if I wanted to. I just don’t want to in the same way.”

  • “I felt the urge to eat and instead of just reacting, I saw it, like ‘what’s actually going on here?’ It felt surprisingly calm.”

  • “When I understood what was actually going on, it took away about half the urge right there.”

  • “I genuinely thought I was addicted to food. I don’t see it that way anymore.”

  • “I’m just not as interested in food anymore. Not in a restricted way, it just doesn’t have that same pull.”

Emotional eating isn’t random

It’s functional.

When something feels off - stress, boredom, overwhelm, emotional tension- it makes sense if your brain looks for the quickest way to regulate it.

Food works well enough:

  • it soothes

  • it distracts

  • it takes the edge off

So even when you know better, your system still defaults to what works well enough.

Not because you’re failing.
But because you haven’t changed your system yet.

This is what the Deep Dive is designed to give you

Two connected shifts…

1. What to do in the moment

So when the urge starts, you’re not relying on willpower or guessing.

You can:

  • recognise what’s happening in real time

  • interrupt the automatic response

  • choose something that actually helps in that moment

2. How to reduce the pattern over time

So the cycle doesn’t just keep repeating.

You start to understand:

  • your pattern

  • what you’re actually using food for

  • how to change the pattern and meet needs directly

So the urge comes up less and less often over time.

How The Deep Dive Actually Works

This is the process that has helped 100+ clients stop feeling out of control around food and start changing the pattern underneath it.

Each module builds on the last,

so you’re not just understanding more…

you’re seeing your own pattern clearly, and knowing what to do with it.

For example:

One client came to me feeling completely out of control with food.

Intense cravings, particularly at night. Daily urges, especially during peak exam season. She was overwhelmed because nothing was helping.
She believed:

“Everyone probably wants to emotionally eat… they just have more willpower than me.”

But when we mapped her pattern, she saw that wasn’t true and this was actually happening:

Perfectionism → constant pressure
Pressure → stress and overwhelm
Food → the only way to come down from it

And instead of:
“What’s wrong with me?”

It became:
“…oh. That actually makes sense.”

That shift reduced the shame and panic almost immediately.

That created enough space that she could start responding differently, instead of falling into the same pattern.

She described it as:

“I feel like I have full permission to eat now…
but I just don’t want to in the same way anymore.”

Module 1 : Understanding what’s actually happening

In this module, you’ll get clear on what emotional eating is, and what it isn’t.

And more importantly, why it keeps happening
even when you already “know better.”

This removes confusion and self-blame,
and gives you a foundation that actually makes the later steps work.

Module 2: Setting the foundations

To move past emotional eating we don’t just need a step by step process. My experience has shown me that some people find it easier than others because there are underlying patterns that influence how progress plays out.

This module helps you understand what often gets in the way of making meaningful changes, what helps progress and how to avoid common pitfalls.

The goal is to help you build the right foundation so the step-by-step process of change becomes more effective and sustainable.

Module 3: Mapping your patterns

This module is about mapping your emotional eating patterns and understanding the real function they serve for you.

I will guide you through practical processes to help you identify the real reasons you are using food, and uncover any blind spots in your awareness. Sometimes we understand our patterns accurately, and sometimes we think we do, but miss key parts of what is actually going on.

Once you can see your patterns clearly and understand why they’re there, the next stage is learning how to change them.

Module 4: What to do instead (practical)

This is where everything comes together.

Now that you understand your patterns, you can start changing them.

In this module you will implement a simple, step-by-step process to interrupt emotional eating in the moment and gradually weaken the pattern so it stops feeling automatic.

You’ll learn how to:

– slow the moment down before the automatic reaction takes over
– identify what the urge is actually trying to solve
– reduce the intensity of the urge without fighting it
– respond in a way that genuinely helps instead of temporarily numbing
– weaken the emotional eating cycle over time so it stops feeling as automatic

No guess work and without relying on willpower.

So you’re not just reacting differently in the moment.

You’re also changing the pattern itself, so it shows up less often in the first place.

  • From feeling automatic, reactive, or “out of control” around food → being able to pause and consciously choose how you respond to a craving or urge (without using willpower)

  • Not trusting yourself around food → feeling more grounded, steady, and self-trusting with food decisions

  • Feeling overwhelmed or confused by your eating patterns → feeling more self-aware, calm, and able to understand what’s going on (without shame or self judgement)

And perhaps most importantly...

  • Feeling strong or frequent emotional eating urges →
having fewer and less intense urges showing up in the first place

What changes are we aiming for?

  • A clear step-by-step framework
The same step by step process that my 1:1 clients use to successfully move from intense urges → little urge to emotionally eat.

  • 4 core modules (approx. 4 hours total video content)
Multiple video lessons that guide you step by step from awareness → to change.

    • Activity-based exercises throughout
Moving past emotional eating is a skill-based process. You’ll actively map your patterns and apply each step to your own experience as you go through the course.

This is designed to be a complete process for evolving out of emotional eating. Everything is designed to be applied, not just understood.

What you receive

Why this is £100 (for now)

This is an early-access version of the Deep Dive.

The full course will be £200 once it’s complete.

Right now, lessons are being released progressively, so you can start applying this immediately without being overwhelmed.

It also means your real experiences can help shape the course while it’s still being built.

Once it’s complete, the content will be fixed and the price will increase to £200.

What others are saying…

  • "I genuinely loved this first module, and the structure. It already enabled me to view my actions in a kinder way and gave me truly helpful insights into why I act like I act. That I'm not a failure, that my actions are no reason for shame. That they just... Are. Like others drink a cup of tea when they're overwhelmed or disregulated. That me not feeling my emotions is not something unusual and that I am not alone in this. I think us humans always think we are those special snowflakes in our sorrows and to hear that others suffer the same is just so validating in itself. I am truly looking forward to the next modules!"

  • I feel so fortunate to have come across Rachael and her work. After years of struggling alone, I feel relieved because Rachael’s guidance and this deep dive is exactly what I needed. She brings an emotionally intelligent, nuanced, and compassionate perspective to this program that I believe is the only way to truly overcome struggles with emotional eating. This deep dive offers the tools to not only overcome issues with food, but improve all areas of life.

    -B (anonymised)

  • “I loooooove the deep dive so far! I feel so seen and validated. And I feel that something in me already can soften.”

    — Emmie

  • "If I could say something to someone hesitant to start, it would be that you don’t need to have everything figured out. Just becoming aware of your patterns is already a huge step. The changes might feel small at first, but they really do build over time, and then things really start to feel a lot more calm and manageable."

    — J (anonymised)

  • "There is so much guilt and shame around the topic of disordered eating but there is something more magical waiting for you in life. Start your journey to finally become more free."

    — Freya

  • Loving the Deep Dive Rachel! It really is a... deep dive. I've learned so much already and look forward to each new video!

    - E (anonymised)

  • "I still had the urge to eat… but it didn’t feel automatic anymore. I felt present, in control, and at peace with my decision"

    - K (anonymised)

  • I've surprised myself in the best way. I thought there's no way I could stop judging my eating but since I've been able to and just observe, I feel so much more confident I can overcome this emotional eating thing.

    -T (anonymised)

This is for you if:

  • you understand your emotional eating but still repeat it

  • you feel aware, but ‘out of control’

  • you’ve tried willpower, diets, or rules and still return to the same cycle

  • you want structure, not motivation

  • you prefer a clear self-guided process over 1:1 work

You don’t need to get it perfect or ready to “stop” emotional eating completely.

You just need a way to stop feeling out of control in the moment and start changing the pattern over time.

If you’re ready for that, you can gain immediate access now.
